The 40th anniversary to the greatest camp in the history of the world.
Every summer, kids and teens ages 7-17 battling or surviving cancer come together in Fort Lauderdale for 9 unforgettable days of friendship, advernture, and healing. From beachside cabins to epic Orlando theme park trips, Camp Fiesta is packed with fun - and it's completely free for families. Led by surviviors, staffed with 24/7 medical care, and powered by love, Camp Fiesta is more than a camp - it's a family.
These amazing people work tirelessly day and night throughout the year to make this amazing week possible.
Lee Klein, a founding force behind Camp Fiesta, helped launch South Florida’s first and largest camp for children with cancer in 1985, created for the Children’s Cancer Caring Center together with Shirly Miller and Erma Podvin. Driven by a shared vision to support children facing cancer and their families through high-stress, often painful treatment journeys, Lee devoted decades to what she lovingly called “her kids.” She believed that until there is a cure, giving quality life, love, and hope is essential. The Camp Fiesta family continues to honor the memories, dreams, and compassionate mission she helped establish, serving children from hospitals across South Florida and beyond.
